Stackable washer and dryers can either be bought as a combo or they can be bought separately if they are stackable and then put one ontop of the other at a later time.

Here is one to consider getting from GE, it can be found at The Home Depot for $1,319 and has a rating of 4/5 stars.  This has one wash/spin speed for reliable cleaning performance and 3 wash cycles.  This also has 3 wash / rinse temperatures to extend your fabric’s life, 3 water levels to minimize the waste of water, an auto dry feature which uses thermostats to check the air temperature and reduce fabric wear and several other features.

If you need a space saving solution at a reasonable price, this is one option to consider getting.

2.  Summit Professional Stackable Washer and Dryer SPW1102, SPDE1112

Here’s another option to consider at $1,295 at “Living In Comofort”.  This duo has a capacity of 11 pounds, is 33 ½” tall, 23 5/8” wide and 24” in depth, it is white, has a reversible door swing and a combined weight of 280 pounds.

This is a European built front load Energy Star machine that has 1000 RPM capability in a stainless steel drum.  The Summit Professional SPW 1102 front load washer cleans your clothes faster than most other machines and does so in a gentle way as well.  It has a reversing action that removes more soil and stains as well.  The matching dryer can be stacked with this or placed side by side. 

Now if you don’t go with either of these, there is also the option of going for an all-in-one machine which does both washing and drying, that will save you even more space.  Of course there are pros and cons to getting such a machine and if you’d rather look into stackable washer and dryers, again,

I’d still recommend you look around some more.  I’ve only gone over a couple here, and although these are good, there are plenty more out there to choose from.  Make sure you get a good idea of what is out there before you make any purchases.
